Drywall repair & interior painting
Drywall repairs that disappear — and rooms repainted right.
Holes patched, cracks and nail pops fixed so they stay fixed, the texture matched and the paint blended so you can't find the repair. Rooms repainted with sharp lines, covered floors and furniture put back. Based in Castle Rock, working from Boulder to Colorado Springs.

Front Range know-how
Why the same cracks keep coming back.
Colorado's dry air and the expansive clay soils under much of the Front Range keep houses moving. Knowing why a crack appeared is how we fix it so it isn't back next season.
- Nail pops in newer homesFraming lumber keeps drying for years after a build, and screws back out of the studs. We drive new fasteners, set the old ones and re-coat.
- Cracks at door and window cornersSeasonal movement concentrates at corners. We cut out loose tape, re-tape with fresh compound and feather it wide so it blends.
- Ceiling cracks that open every winterOften truss uplift — roof trusses flex with the seasons and lift the ceiling off interior walls. We use fixes that allow for the movement.
- When a crack means moreWide, growing or stair-step cracks, or doors that suddenly stick, can point to foundation movement. We'll tell you plainly when it needs an engineer first.
Holes, dents & patches
Doorknob holes, anchor holes, dents, cable cutouts and larger damaged sections — cut back to solid material, backed where needed, taped, finished and textured to match the wall around them.
- Drywall patch & texture match$125–$275per hole
Common jobs
- Doorknob and furniture dents
- Old anchor and mount holes
- Cutouts after plumbing or cable work
- Corner bead repairs
- Larger section replacement
- Orange peel, knockdown or smooth
Cracks, nail pops & seams
The settling marks that show up in Front Range homes, handled with the right fix for the cause — so the crack you paid to fix isn't back next winter.
Common jobs
- Nail and screw pops
- Corner and seam cracks
- Cracks above doors and windows
- Ceiling-to-wall cracks
- Lifted or bubbled tape
- Builder warranty punch lists
Water-damage repair
Once the leak is fixed, we cut out the damaged drywall, make sure the cavity is dry, replace and finish the section, and paint it to match. If the source still needs a plumber or roofer, we line them up first.
If there's mold beyond a small area, a remediation company handles that part before we rebuild.
Common jobs
- Ceiling stains and sagging drywall
- Damage under windows and around tubs
- Openings after a plumbing repair
- Insulation replaced in the opened area
- Stain-blocking primer
- Repaint to match
Interior painting

Common jobs
- Nail-hole and anchor filling
- Scuff and dent repair
- Touch-ups or full repaints
- Rental turnovers
- Pre-listing refreshes
- Inspection-response repairs
How a repair disappears
Four steps from a hole to a wall you'd never know was patched.
Most repairs that show do so because a step got skipped. These are the ones we don't skip.
- 01
Cut back and secure
Damaged material cut back to solid drywall, with backing added and loose screws reset so the patch can't move.
- 02
Tape and coat
Taped and finished in thin coats, feathered wide and sanded smooth so there's no ridge or halo.
- 03
Match the texture
Orange peel, knockdown or smooth — matched to the wall around it, not just sprayed on.
- 04
Prime and blend
Primed so the patch doesn't show through, then painted to a natural break like a corner when spot paint would show.
One visit, the whole list
Make it one trip.
Patching is often part of something bigger — a move-out, a new TV, a punch list before the listing photos. Put it on one written price and one schedule.
Often booked together
- Old mount holes patched after a TV moves
- Repairs and paint before move-out
- Door stops fixed, and the dents behind them
- Paint before new flooring goes in
- Shelves and mirrors hung once the paint is dry
Questions
Drywall and painting questions.
How much does drywall repair cost?
Most single patches run $125–$275, texture match included. Several repairs in one visit usually fit a half-day punch list at $300–$400, and larger water-damage repairs are quoted from photos or a quick look.
Can you match my wall texture?
Yes — orange peel, knockdown, skip trowel or smooth. Send a close-up photo in daylight and we'll know what we're matching before we arrive.
Why do my ceiling cracks come back every winter?
In many Front Range homes it's truss uplift: roof trusses flex with temperature and humidity and lift the ceiling drywall away from interior walls. Re-taping alone won't hold, so we use a fix that allows for the movement — and tell you if a crack looks like something more.
Do you paint the whole wall or just the patch?
Whatever makes the repair invisible. Fresh paint over a small patch can show, especially on flat and eggshell finishes, so we'll recommend painting to the nearest corner when it's needed — and it's on your price before you approve.
Do you supply the paint?
Either way. Leftover paint from the builder or a past job works if it's still good; otherwise we match and supply it, itemized on your estimate.
My home was built before 1978. Does that matter?
Yes. Paint in older homes may contain lead, and sanding or cutting it falls under EPA lead-safe work rules. Tell us the year your home was built when you send photos, and we'll tell you up front how that affects the job.
Where do you do drywall repair and painting?
From Boulder to Colorado Springs. Douglas County and the south metro are home base, with no travel charge. Farther out — across the Denver metro, north to Boulder and south to Colorado Springs — travel is built into your written price, never added afterward. See every town we cover.
Send a close-up of the damage.
One photo up close and one from across the room is usually enough for a written price within 24 hours.
