This policy explains what information SummitPeak Contracting & Logistics LLC (“SummitPeak,” “we”) collects when you visit summitpeakhd.com, request an estimate, call, text or email us, or hire us — and what we do with it.

What we collect

What you give us. Your name, phone number, email, the address or area of the job, a description of the work, photos you send, and anything else you include in a message or form. If you hire us, we also keep your estimates, schedule, invoices and payment records.

What we don’t collect. We never ask for your Social Security number. If you pay online, your card is handled by our payment processor — we don’t see or store the full card number.

What the website records automatically. Like most sites, ours records basic technical information: your browser and device type, the pages you visit, roughly where you’re browsing from based on your IP address, and whether you tap our call or text buttons. This comes from our website platform, Squarespace, and from Google Analytics — see Cookies and analytics.

How we use it

• To answer your request and prepare your written estimate
• To schedule, do and document the work. Before-and-after photos we take stay in your job file, and we’ll ask before using any photo of your property publicly
• To send reminders, updates and invoices, and to take payment
• To keep the records a business must keep for taxes, warranties and legal obligations
• To understand, in aggregate, how people use our website so we can improve it

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their marketing.

Text messages

If you check the text-message box on our form, text us, or ask us to text you, we’ll send texts about your request and your job: questions about the work, your estimate, scheduling, arrival times, updates and invoices. We don’t send marketing texts.

• How often: message frequency varies with your job.
• Cost: message and data rates may apply.
• Opting out: reply STOP to any message and we’ll stop texting you. Reply HELP for help, or call (303) 919-2274.
• It’s optional: you don’t need to agree to texts to get an estimate — we can call or email instead.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from every kind of sharing described in this policy, and will not be shared with any third party.

Who sees your information

Only the people and services needed to do your job:

• Our crew — the people working on your job see the address, the scope of work and how to reach you.
• Licensed trades we coordinate — when your project includes licensed electrical or plumbing work, that professional gets the details needed for their part.
• Service providers — the companies behind our tools: Squarespace (website), Jobber (requests, estimates, scheduling, invoices and texts), our payment processor, our phone and texting carriers, and Google (analytics). They handle information to provide their service to us, not for their own marketing.
• When the law requires it — to comply with a legal obligation, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
• If the business changes hands — if SummitPeak is ever sold or merged, customer records would transfer under the same protections.

Cookies and analytics

Squarespace uses cookies the site needs to work, plus cookies for its own visitor statistics. Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits and see which pages help people, in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

We don’t currently use advertising or retargeting cookies. If that changes, we’ll update this policy first.

How long we keep it

Requests that don’t become jobs are kept long enough to follow up and answer questions. Records of work we’ve done — estimates, invoices, photos and notes — are kept as long as we need them for warranty, tax and legal purposes. When we no longer need something, we delete it.

Your choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• tell you what information we have about you
• correct anything that’s wrong
• delete it — except records we’re required to keep, such as invoices
• stop texting or emailing you

Call, text or email us and we’ll respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm it’s you before sharing or deleting anything.

How we protect it

Your information is kept in password-protected accounts with established providers, and only the people who need it can see it. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affects your information, we’ll notify you as Colorado law requires.

Children

Our site and services are for adults arranging work on their homes and businesses. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Other websites

Some of our pages link to other sites — for example, the government lookup tools on our Verify page. Their own privacy policies apply there.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
